CLEAN AIR ENGINEERING, INC. SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH KFX INC. SUSIDIARY TO DISTRIBUTE CONTOL & OPTIMIZATION TECHNOLOGY TO US/CANADA AND EUROPEAN INDUSTRIAL BOILER MARKET.
Mentor, OH, September 13th, 2002 – KFx Inc.’s (Amex: KFX - news) majority-owned subsidiary, Pegasus Technologies, Inc., the leading source of combustion optimization solutions for the electric power and industrial utility industry, and Clean Air Engineering, Inc. (CleanAir), the leading provider of air quality products and services to the industrial market, have entered into a value-added reseller agreement for Pegasus’ OS2003 Control and Optimization solutions. This Agreement will result in broadening the delivery capability for Pegasus solutions into the rapidly expanding market of industrial boiler control and optimization.

CleanAir will offer Pegasus OS-2003 applications and solutions for combustion control and optimization to the industrial boiler market in North America and Europe. Pegasus products covered under this agreement include Ultramax® (and its derivative technology or products), and as the market needs expand, other Pegasus products including NeuSIGHTTM, PowerPerfecterTM, OS-2003, Environmental Portfolio LeaderTM, and SoftwareCEM®.
