DOE office of Fossil Energy - the Energy Department's Fossil Energy organization is made up of about 1000 scientists, engineers, technicians and administrative staff. Its headquarters offices are in downtown Washington, DC, and in Germantown, Maryland. The organization also has field offices in Morgantown, West Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Tulsa, Oklahoma; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Casper, Wyoming.

The Natural Gas and Petroleum Import and Export Office - responsible for regulating natural gas imports and exports under Section 3 of the Natural Gas Act of 1938; maintaining statistics on North American natural gas trade, and overseeing the Office of Fossil Energy's international programs pertaining to natural gas and petroleum. The Import/Export Office identifies developing export and international business opportunities for U.S. private industry, and develops programs and implements policies that will enhance the U.S. energy industry's ability to compete in foreign markets. It promotes technologies and solutions that will improve the global environment and increase U.S. energy security.

The National Propane Gas Association - The NPGA is the national trade association representing the propane industry. Its membership includes small businesses and large corporations engaged in the retail marketing of propane gas and appliances; producers and wholesalers of propane equipment; manufacturers and distributors of propane gas appliances and equipment; fabricators of propane gas cylinders and tanks; and propane transporters.

The American Gas Association - The AGA represents 189 local natural gas utilities that deliver gas to 54 million homes and businesses in all 50 states. Additionally, AGA provides services to member natural gas pipelines, marketers, gatherers, international gas companies and a variety of industry associates. AGA acts as a clearinghouse for gas energy information, as a catalyst in technical and energy policy matters, and as a powerful voice for its members.

Gas Processors Association - The GPA is an organization of operating and producing companies engaged in the processing of natural gas. GPA had its beginnings in 1921 and has developed and evolved along with the Gas Processing Industry. Throughout its history, GPA has had the same organizational structure and identical objectives acting as a stabilizing influence in the industry it serves. It has become the focal point of progress and the clearing-house of issues and developments in the gas processing industry.

The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America - The North American association representing interstate and interprovincial natural gas pipeline companies, INGAA speaks for the companies that own and operate those lines. Their members transport more than 90 percent of the nation"s natural gas. INGAA serves as an informed voice for the industry and a regulatory, legislative and business advocate on issues of importance to natural gas pipeline companies. The Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA) represents integrated and independent companies that produce and market natural gas in the United States. Based in Washington, D.C., the association consists of the majority of the large natural gas producers in the United States. Founded in 1965, NGSA's mission is to pursue regulatory and legislative issues that foster a growing and competitive natural gas environment, while at the same time improving members' business operations.
