Environmental Technology Council (ETC) -- Hazardous Waste Resource Center; The ETC is a trade association of commercial environmental firms that recycle, treat and dispose of industrial and hazardous wastes; and firms involved in cleanup of contaminated sites. Founded in 1982, the Council has been a leader in promoting strong environmental standards based on sound science to assure the proper management of hazardous waste.
