Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials -- The Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials (ASTSWMO) is an organization supporting the environmental agencies of the States and trust territories. ASTSWMO focuses on the needs of State hazardous waste programs; nonhazardous municipal solid waste and industrial waste programs; recycling, waste minimization, and reduction programs; Superfund and State cleanup programs; waste management and cleanup activities at federal facilities, and underground storage tank and leaking underground storage tank programs.

Environmental Industry Associations-- Environmental Industry Interactive is produced by the Environmental Industry Associations (EIA). The Environmental Industry Associations represents about 2,000 companies that manage solid, hazardous, and medical wastes; manufacture and distribute waste equipment; and offer related pollution-prevention services.

Environmental Technology Council (ETC) -- Hazardous Waste Resource Center; The ETC is a trade association of commercial environmental firms that recycle, treat and dispose of industrial and hazardous wastes; and firms involved in cleanup of contaminated sites. Founded in 1982, the Council has been a leader in promoting strong environmental standards based on sound science to assure the proper management of hazardous waste. ETC has fought for its goals through legislative advocacy and the public administrative process, particularly at the Environmental Protection Agency, and in the courts.
