Small
Engine Services
As EPA and CARB regulations tighten on engine emissions in
general, small engine manufacturers and distributors are
finding the increased need to certify engines
and engine families for importation into the United States. CleanAir has
the familiarity with current regulations for small engine
import that are so new
the ink is barely dry on the pages of the CFR.
The
decisions based upon different phases, engine sizes, engine family
determinations, and other criteria that go into
filing an acceptable application are somewhat
daunting. Getting an EPA Certificate of Conformity or a CARB Executive Order
or both does not have to be that confusing. Let CleanAir handle the testing
and application process for you. We have done the upfront research in 40
CFR parts
89 and 90 already. We have made the contacts within EPA and CARB to get answers
fast and thus streamline the certification process for you. Whether you have
a diesel compression ignition or gasoline spark ignition engine below 19
kW, 25 hp, we can perform the testing and application for
legal importation. Our
associated laboratories can also handle larger diesel engines up to 100 hp
that are governed by 40 CFR 89.
