Combined Cycle Performance Testing

CleanAir executes test programs and support activities including turnkey test programs, test plan development, equipment calibration and supply, equipment installation, data transfer, fuel analysis, performance calculation and reporting. CleanAir conducts these tests with minimal plant disruption utilizing a mixture of precision temporary test instruments and plant station instruments to balance test cost and accuracy as required to meet the specific objectives associated with each test. CleanAir's performance testing, emissions testing and tuning capabilities provide seamless integration when critical substantial completion milestones are tied to new plant construction.

CleanAir provides impartial third party ASME PTC-46 overall plant performance tests to determine heat rate and capacity. CleanAir performs combined cycle performance testing for:

• new unit contractual acceptance,
• establishment of power purchase agreements,
• contractual benchmark pre-and-post modification testing, and
• benchmarking as required for plant performance and heat rate trending

CleanAir also conducts cooling tower and air-cooled condenser tests for new plants to ensure that these components do not limit the capacity of the plant in warm weather months.
