Volatile
Organic Compounds
CleanAir
performs a full range of emission tests to measure volatile organic
compounds (VOC) including highly reactive volatile organic compounds
(HRVOC).
The Texas
Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has finalized regulations
regarding HRVOC requirements. The final rule focuses on 1,3-butadiene,
butenes, ethylene and propylene, and encompasses emissions from
vents, flares and cooling towers, as well as fugitive emissions. Louisiana
is in the process of issuing similar regulations.
CleanAir can
help you complete your plans for VOC or HRVOC compliance. CleanAir’s
testing services include:
- On-line
analysis of speciated or total VOCs & HRVOCs
- Sampling during CEMS down-time (gap-filling)
- Fugitive Audit Programs
- Fence-line Monitoring Programs
- VOC capture and removal efficiency testing
CleanAir provides
a comprehensive list of VOC measurement technologies, including
traditional gas chromatography (GC) and Fourier transform infrared
spectroscopy (FTIR). We have recently added the
patent-pending Pneumatic Focusing Gas Chromatography technology,
a low-cost real-time approach for remote VOC monitoring.
For over 30 years, CleanAir has performed thousands of consulting
and air testing projects, including performance guarantee/start
up, diagnostic, and emissions compliance. CleanAir has a depth
of knowledge, experience and capabilities that is hard to duplicate
anywhere. We routinely perform standard USEPA methods 18, 21, 22,
25, 25A and 320. Industry VOC testing experience includes:
- Chemical & Petrochemical
Manufacturing
- Petroleum Refining
- Natural Gas Processing
- Waste Treatment and Disposal
- Municipal and Hazardous Waste Incineration
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Automobile Manufacturing
Our goal is to provide our clients with the highest quality products
and services for air quality management. We can help your company
to conduct air emission testing, streamline regulatory communications,
prepare test protocols and pre-testing programs, and provide quality
