Technicians
Clean Air employs dozens of Field Technicians who are capable of performing
every type of stack test, from basic EPA Method 5 particulate sampling
to more complicated methods such as Method 23 for dioxins, Method
29 for metals and Method 0030 for VOCs. We can put test crews
in the field as large as 40 persons to handle the most difficult testing
projects involving multiple test locations and pollutants.
Our technicians generally have at least four-year college degrees
in a technical field such as engineering or science. Clean Air
technicians are formally trained by our in-house trainers in EPA sampling
methodology, instrument repair, basic industrial process knowledge,
and field safety. Furthermore, each new technician is supervised
closely by experienced field personnel as part of an on-the-job training
program. We follow up all training with periodic testing and
additional retraining as part of our overall quality program. |
