When you need to know the size distribution and chemical makeup of droplets and particles in your duct or stack, you need CleanAir. We have no peer when it comes to generating accurate particle-size distribution data, including size-specific chemical speciation on a wide variety of sources. These include coal-fired and heavy fuel oil-fired boilers and associated air pollution control equipment, along with coke furnaces, MSW plasma incinerators, metal coating operations, radioactive material vitrification units and a host of others.

Our data, either aerodynamic or Stokes diameter-based, is used to design new control equipment and also to diagnose equipment problems. In addition, CleanAir has pioneered the technique of  ‘wet’; particle-sizing using cascade impactors to define the relationship between liquid droplets, solid particles and sulfuric acid in a gas stream.
