Process Optimization

Using CleanAir’s Optimal Test Design process, we can work with your process experts to design and implement a data collection and analysis program to optimize the performance of process equipment and control devices. First, we determine the operating variables that contribute to performance, and design operating modes that exercise these variables to their limits to determine those we can change and control for those we cannot. Then we analyze the data to look for parameter combinations that maximize performance. Examples of our optimization projects include a refinery Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and alkaline scrubber, power plant electrostatic precipitators (ESP), and chemical plant flare systems.
