Join us this year at the Jansen Biomass Boiler Workshop taking place in Prague, Czechia, March 29-30, 2023. Over the last 20 years, hundreds of professionals in the Pulp/Forest Products Industry, Food Products Industry, Independent Power Producers, the Power Sector, and Energy-from-Waste Industry have benefited by attending Jansen’s Biomass Boiler Workshops.
Participants will:
Learn about the latest retrofit technology for biomass and other solid fuel fired boilers and associated equipment.
See how other plant operations solve their boiler area problems.
Receive information and solutions for specific needs.
This workshop consists of presentations about new technological developments to improve operating performance, biomass burning capacity (i.e., waste wood, bark, hogged fuel, chips, pellets, bagasse, agro-waste), efficiency, emissions performance, and fuel economy of biomass-fired boilers. Learn about the latest retrofit technology for biomass boilers and associated equipment. See how other plants solve their biomass boiler problems, and receive information and solutions to plant specific problems.
CleanAir’s Jim Guenthoer will also be presenting at this workshop. Jim’s presentation will look at the regulatory and other prevailing impetus’ that cause an industry to perform stack testing at their facility. He then looks at the various areas of concern that have to be considered and addressed to have a successful outcome for the testing.
Jim has 40+ years of experience in the field of air emissions testing and consulting. His background in this field includes the performance and/or supervision of thousands of source tests in 49 states, Canada, South America, and the Middle East. He is considered a Subject Matter Expert in the field of particle size distribution using in-situ cascade impactors. In 2016 he started up CleanAir’s PNW regional office in Sumner, Washington and has resumed management of that office in 2023. His additional responsibilities include technical project consulting and new business development activities. He is a Qualified Source Testing Individual (QSTI), Groups I-IV and holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington.
We hope to see you there!
