Teflon Beaker Liner (FEP) 250 ml 7.5 milFEP Beaker Liners – Alternative To Glass Labware Laboratory analysts are recognizing the utility of Beaker Liners made with FEP film, as a stand-alone alternative to borosilicate glassware. It is recommended the Beaker liners are rinse with methylene chloride (as a rinse) to remove a “releasing agent” that the manufacturer uses.  The compound is used to allow quick release from the molding/stamping process used in manufacture. The EPA’s official cleaning steps are listed in Alt-005.

  • Individually number beakers inside separately labeled plastic shipping tub that is sealed to maintain chain of custody from our lab to the customer.
  • A chain of custody sheet that provides the media ID, the date and value of the final tare weight assigned to that beaker.
  • We recommend the customer use the chain of custody sheet that comes along with the samples to send the samples back to us for final analysis
