CleanAir COYOTE Portable Mass Flow Control
$0.00
The CleanAir COYOTE is a portable, three-channel mass flow controller and gas blender built for analyzer calibration in the field. Three independent MEMS thermal-sensing MFCs (10,000, 5,000 and 100 SCCM) deliver single gases or precise blends, set up from a 4.3″ color touchscreen or any web browser over Ethernet. An on-board blend calculator, per-channel data logging and 12 VDC operation come packed in a rugged 8.2 lb. hard-shell case. Available to rent or purchase.
Precise Gas Blending, Adapted for the Field
The CleanAir COYOTE is a compact, portable gas-flow control and blending system for analyzer calibration, FTIR dynamic spiking, and controlled delivery of calibration gases. It packs three independently controlled mass flow controllers, an on-board blend calculator, and remote access over Ethernet into a rugged case that weighs about 8.2 lbs., so you can deliver calibration gas wherever the work takes you.
Three Independent Channels, One Portable Unit
Each COYOTE carries three mass flow controllers using MEMS thermal mass-flow sensing. The standard setup gives you a wide working range: Channel 1 at 10,000 SCCM, Channel 2 at 5,000 SCCM, and Channel 3 at 100 SCCM. Run each channel on its own for single-gas delivery, or combine the outlets through an external mixing manifold to build a blended stream before it reaches the analyzer. Every inlet has an in-line PVDF 0.1-micron borosilicate microfiber filter, and stainless steel 1/4″ push-to-connect fittings with fluoroelastomer o-rings make hookups quick.
Five Operating Modes
The 4.3″ color touchscreen puts every function on one main menu:
- Group Flow – set point, flow and volume for all three channels at once
- Individual Flow – run and monitor a single channel, with gas selection by K factor
- % of Total Flow – enter a total flow set point and split it across channels by percentage
- Batch Flow – deliver a defined gas volume
- Calculator – work out channel set points and ratios for a target blend
Channel functions include Zero/Tare, Autotare, Open/Close All, and Reset Volume.
Remote Operation and Integration
The COYOTE’s HMI is web enabled, so you can run the unit from a standard web browser over an Ethernet LAN connection with no special software. For automated systems, MODBUS over TCP/IP provides external control and digital I/O, and optional 4–20 mA analog outputs are available for each channel. Communication ports include RJ45 Ethernet, an RS-485 wired connector, and USB A.
Built-In Data Logging
Every channel is logged separately, recording date/time, flow, total flow, volume, total volume, and MFC temperature at a log interval you choose. On-board storage starts at 8 GB and can be expanded to 32 GB. Pull data from the USB A flash drive port, or transfer files by FTP over Ethernet using third-party software.
Made for Mobile Work
The COYOTE is housed in a rugged hard-shell case measuring 10.7″ W x 9.76″ D x 6.89″ H. It runs on 12 VDC (2 A, 24 W), from mobile power or from 120 VAC through an external AC/DC power adapter.
