This instrument is developed and manufactured by Clean Air Engineering to be used in combination with ¼” RTDs to measure both wet-bulb and dry-bulb temperature in compliance with the requirements of the Cooling Technology Institute’s (CTI) ATC–105 and ASME PTC-23 test codes. The Box-type Psychrometer is generally suspended by rope in front of cooling tower or gas turbine air inlets. It can also be placed on a tripod to support wet bulb or dry bulb temperature measurements near grade level. An internal fan provides consistent air flow across the wet and dry bulbs, and requires 110/120 VAC for operation. This instrument also includes a female power receptacle so that multiple units can be daisy-chained together.
The Psychrometers are available in 120 VAC or 240 VAC.
