Join CleanAir and Marcellus Shale Coalition for an OGI Camera Operation Refresher Course!
4.5 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS AVAILABLE
The course will take place on the last day of the MSC November Member Meeting.
Overview
Although the methodologies for detecting leaks at oil and gas facilities have undergone significant changes over the last several years, the importance of the optical gas imaging (OGI) camera has not diminished. In addition to federal regulatory standards such as New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) OOOOa, state-level regulations such as the Pennsylvania Air Quality General Permits (GP-5/5A) and voluntary initiatives continue to drive home the importance of this technology, which often acts as the cornerstone of a leak detection and repair (LDAR) program.
Join oil and gas industry stakeholders to obtain a refresher on OGI cameras with both classroom and “in-the-field” training sessions. The classroom session will review specific requirements, methodologies and theories related to the use of OGI cameras and the in-the-field session will include a hands-on camera training. A certificate documenting completion will be provided at the conclusion of the course.
